Designing a Mobile App for Mental Health:- With the rise of technology and the widespread use of smartphones, there’s a unique opportunity to leverage mobile apps to provide accessible and convenient mental health support. This case study explores the process of designing a mobile app focused on mental health, incorporating features such as quizzes, community forums, and chat with professionals.
Our client is a healthcare organization dedicated to promoting mental
wellness and providing support to individuals struggling with mental
health issues. They approached our design team with a vision to develop a
mobile app that would serve as a comprehensive platform for mental
health resources and support.
Project Scope: The goal of the project was to design and develop a mobile app that offers a range of features to support mental health:
- Quizzes: Interactive quizzes to assess mental health, provide insights, and offer personalized recommendations.
- Community Forums: A supportive community where users can connect with others facing similar challenges, share experiences, and offer mutual support.
- Forum Chat with Doctors: Direct access to mental health professionals for guidance, advice, and counseling through secure chat functionality.
We conducted extensive user research to understand the needs, preferences, and challenges of individuals seeking mental health support. Surveys, interviews, and focus groups helped us gather insights into user demographics, preferred features, and usability requirements.
